2020 Breeding Pairs
Misty & Butternut
They produced two litters in the fall of 2019 and February 2020.
Misty was borrowed from a local breeder to help us get started again after a long break of no litters.
Daisy & Sunnyboy
They produced one litter of 8 born on March 21. The second litter is expected any day now
Stormy & Butternut
Our beautiful full Blue Stormy got a litter of 3 born on April 21 and a second litter of 3 born on 21 May.
Maggie & Cloud
Maggie is a daughter from Misty, who had a litter of 5 born on Mother’s day.
4 white ones and one brown Agouti.

Flakey is the mom. She is Spotted Blue and Shadow is the male who is black.
7 baby gerbils for Shadow and Flakey.
3 blacks, one slate (dilute?), one spotted slate, one silver nutmeg and one nutmeg.

Flurry is the mom. She is Blue and Kingston is the male who is Light Nutmeg and born here at Gerbil Hub.
The first litter of Kingston and Flurry has 3 gerbils.

Meet Snowy and Shadow!
Snowy is the mom. She is light color point Slate and Shadow is the male who is black.
And see here the introduction to one another. It went pretty smooth since they are both young, but we have been watching them for hours, just to be sure they will be alright 🙂
Snowy and Shadow are an adorable pair. They are very calm and love to climb on your hand, arm or upon your sleeve.
Snowy became pretty fat and sure enough she started building a little nest so she could have her babies. Daddy was not allowed at that time 🙂
Half an hour later we found 7 little squirming and squeeking pups. They all appear healthy and Snowy is taking good care of them.
And daddy is helping around as well.

First Litter: The Gerbil Pups
The below video is taken when the baby gerbils were about 4 weeks old. The whole family is in a temporary tank while we clean our Ikea Detolf. They are very excited or….are they practicing a family dance?
Second Gerbil Litter from Snowy & Shadow
The second litter has 6 pups (3 boys and 3 girls). 2 blacks, 1 Nutmeg, 1 Color Point Light Nutmeg, 1 Color Point Grey (like mom) and one Light Color Point Silver Nutmeg.
